Subject: Oregon new triathlete
I've been lurking over at Slowtwitch for quite some time, decided to actually come over here where things are a bit more my speed.

Still a beginner: two du's (one was an XTERRA) last year, one sprint so far this year with another in two weeks (XTERRA Portland). Lots of running races, including two half marathons...doing my first full marathon in September, and another half in November.

My swimming sucks, my bike is strong but slowish, and my run is pretty solid (but could be faster).

Happy to be here!

I just finished the NYC marathon on Sunday and I think I'm going to venture into triathlons. I am doing an Olympic distance and I want to do a 70.3 next year too. Any advice?
