Comments:

I'm still struggling with ows. I did fine for the first 100m or so freestyle, but after that it was a mix of back, side, and freestyle to finish it.

Bike

Comments:

The bike course felt good other than the hill just before the turn around point. That was a struggle to get up, but coming back down was great.
Transition 2
  • 01m 49s
Run
  • 31m 43s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 10m 12s  min/mile
Comments:

Run felt good, I started to cramp up just a bit but worked through it. Unfortunately the knee issue I've been dealing with reared it's ugly head again so I had to stop every once in a while to let it subside.

Great job making it through the swim and up the hill on the bike course!  Hope your knee is feeling better soon.

Nice job - even if you weren't happy with your swim. You did well!

I am not suggesting that I have turned into Aquaman or have grown gills or that I am a really great swimmer. I am none of those. But I have learned to love the swim.

I had been very fit until I turned the legal age for the two demons: drinking and smoking. Unfortunately, from my 18th birthday, my once fit swimmer's body went downhill and wide very fast.

I am not going to buy a tri-suit before my first tri - I want to make sure I am going to stick with this before I spend a lot of money on it so I want to figure out what will work best.
