has anyone tried this. Sounds like a great idea that would never work. However, I am in the humid south and 1 -1.5 hours into my ride i cant see through my glasses from sweat flowing over them. Ive used all types of head bands - so not in need of suggestions there. Thanks in advance for any experience on this.

I've been using mine for well over a year. I do not do any cycling or running without it! It works perfectly for me.

I looked for this sort of option after a really hot day going up a nice hill climb and I had to stop because the sweat killed my eyes and I had to stop.

I have the clear colored one, and it's starting to get a little manky, so I've been wanting to buy a new one.

Halo is more comfortable IMO.

There are some good reviews of these on youtube.

It's awesome for running, but doesn't work so well on the bike due to the forward lean.

I found the HALO useless - if I'm sweating enough to actually need something like this, I can saturate a HALO in under 5 minutes. The GUTR though works great for running.

I haven't found a good solution for the bike, other than not putting thick sunscreen on your eyes/eybrows since it'll burn when it trickles into your eyes with the sweat.

I also prefer halo. You can try both and see what works better for you.

I shave my head -I'm NOT bald- so sweat flows freely under my helmet towards my eyes.

What I find works best is chapstick or lip balm. I apply it along the top of my eyebrows and run it outside of my eyes and downward. It help to channel the sweat towards the side of my face.

I am a nasty sweater in the summer (loving the current cold temps in the mid-Atlantic, as I don't have to worry about that nonsense). I've tried the Gutr, but it's the Halo headband that I keep coming back to. Halo works well for the run, only ok for the bike. For me, the biggest factors on the bike are my position, my helmet, and the road grade. If I'm wearing my road helmet and going relatively fast and not in aero, then I'm generally just fine. If I'm wearing my aero helmet and in a low position, then everything is a disaster, headband or not.

Husband uses GUTR during our hot, humid Houston summers on the bike. Halo gets soaked and doesn't work for him.
