Subject: Sign/poster slogans--kids tri

Hi all.  I'm sorry if this has already been discussed but I couldn't find anything by searching the site...

My 9-yr old daughter is doing her 1st tri tomorrow to raise money for families of children with cancer.  We're going to make some signs/posters and I am not creative enough to come up with anything good.  I am wondering if anyone has any good ideas for the signs.  Thanks for your help.

I like it.  Thanks.

Does anyone have any more appropriate for a 9-yr old (and that she'd understand)?  Thanks again.

For my daughter I made a sign of her name in big sparkly glitter letters. She loved it.

Maybe "Pass the boys" or something about school like "this is harder than (least favorite subject)" or "this isn't school, you have to make an effort".

Very simple, yet very good idea.

Would certainly work for both of my kids!

Love those.

During the Savannah Marathon last year there was a kid (10 maybe) holding a sign that said "punch here for power" and it had a big picture of a fist on it. I think everyone around me made a line to fist bump the poster.

Here's what I went with (clearly done by an un-artistic dad):

Honey, great news. I just spent our kids’ college fund on a new bike! The sales guy said it will shave at least 3 seconds off my 40K time. Umm, honey why do you have a knife in your hand???
