Road was wet so it wasnt very agressive getting on the bike or getting up to speed.

Because it was wet I decided to wear socks and keep my shoes on from dismount to T2. This cost me some time.

Middle 3 miles were great but the last 2 I ran out of steam and really slowed down.
What would you do differently?:

Longer training runs would be a good start. Too lazy to put put in enough runs over 5 miles.
