Subject: 8.22.13 Thursday Stuff
Good morning BT!

I am trying to do a better job listening to my body and this morning it feels tired! Thus, an 'active' off day.

4:15am: 45 min walk
5:00am: upper body strength + core

I've been running after school with one of my newby runners--albeit slowly, but still that extra afternoon work is adding up a bit.

Another long day of meetings ahead, blecchhh!

4.5 mile run this morning all in zone 1. Probably hit the pool this afternoon.

I think I have done the teaching equivalent of an ironman today. AM One hour run, watching the sun come up. All day--teaching fifth graders. Plus one recess duty in oven temperatures. PM 2500m swim workout. Later: Quick bowl of noodles, change out of sweats, back to school. 1:30 of back to school night, meeting and greeting parents and giving presentation. Plus about 20 minutes of talking with a parent who wants me to coach her for a HM and sprint tri. Home--8:30 PM.

Total time for run-teach-swim-parents-coach event: 13hrs 30min

Hour and a half on the bike trainer for me this morning while the kids slept and their mom went out for a 5 mile run.

1 HR strength training at the Gym at lunch, 1500M OWS Swim in the Big lake with the club after work tonight, then we are hitting the Bar on the beech as its our Last OWS of the year and I have come down with a Cold wouldn't you know it.

4250 yds this morning.

2 hour ride/ 1 hr run tonight after work.

Last tough week and then taper starts next week for IM WI!

5 mile run broken up into 2 sets...2.5 from my house to my chiropractor appt, and 2.5 on the way back home...worked out well because my muscles were nice and warm for my adjustment and she got a really good one

shorter stuff today, still trying to ease back into everything since Sunday's run

13 mile ride (hard) am
3 mile easy run at lunch
13 mile ride (hard) pm with a stop at the pool for hopefully 2k if the shoulder allows.
