Little surprised as well that it didn't have it's own thread. I'm so stoked for this weekend. My first oly!

Not doing the race, but my special lady friend and I are volunteering at packet pickup from 1-6 on Saturday.

Be careful when riding on LSD. The expansion cracks in the road make changing lanes very dangerous. Last year I saw a girl go airborn, and almost land in the open traffic lanes.
There is also a massive variety in speeds. You have MTB, hybrids, road bikes, $7k tri bikes, the works. So be aware.

I'm doing the super sprint since this will be my 5th tri ever and without access to open water, half a mile in the lake seemed daunting. Next year ill be signing up for the sprint distance! Looking forward to the expo tomorow! Good luck all, so excited!!

Have fun out there and BE CAREFUL ON THE BIKE! It's crowded, the road surface sucks and people oftentimes dont know on which side of the road they're supposed to ride. Just keep your head up and remember to enjoy the day. It's a fun race for sure. We may swing down there at some point being we live only a couple blocks away! Holla out if you see someone that looks like me. Even if it's not me, just to get that `Who the fudge are you?' look back from them.
