IMWI 2013 is just around the corner & I suspect those of you tapering will have some free time on your hands.  With this extra time, it seems like a good time to start the traditional list of names (BT name or real name whichever u prefer) & Bib #'s for local BTers who are doing the big race this year.  This will allow us watching & volunteering to keep an eye out for you and help cheer you on!

Suzy (SSMinnow), #931!

Easy to spot me on the course--look for the shortest girl riding a Parlee TT or in a black and white PPL kit on the run!

GOOD luck everyone!  I will keep an eye out for you & hope to see many of you coming out of to get your bikes where I will be working as a sunscreen applicator.  Have a good, safe, speedy race & most importantly, enjoy the day!

Often it makes sense to race slower in order to finish faster and at the same time have a more enjoyable Ironman Triathlon experience.

If you would have told me that I would want to train over ten hours a week for a race that can last up to 17 hours, I would have laughed. But somehow, my ACL injury has refocused my outlook on life.

It makes no sense to train hard for a year to hone that aerobic system only to have all that training undermined by a few anaerobic bursts on race day. So, how do you go about it?

TriLover recently had the opportunity to interview Tim and Nicole. Read what the DeBooms had to say about triathlon, their support for each other and life.
