As a racer or a volunteer?

Racer - nope.

Volunteer - hopefully!

Yes, will be up early Monday morning, but how early is early?  3:00 a.m.? 4:00 a.m.?  I'll be hobbling in line for the jacket and breakfast, so enjoy sign-up!

WHAT?  You're not signing up?  You better not let DJ know of this.

I will certainly be in the "sign-up" line Monday morning.  2014 will be a good year and you shouldn't miss out on that fine opportunity!

Someone point me in the direction of this sign up line thingy for Monday morning. 140.6 miles sounds 'fun'.

i.e. IN FOR 2014

So, what time does the line start to form for the volunteers wishing sign up for 2014? I know it officially starts at 9am but just curious what to expect and how long it might take.

Not me! BUT, Juice is IN!He already signed up with the Active.com link - you get both The Racine Half and MOO for $900 plus fee of $54. He didn't feel like standing in line.... Here's the link - ends tomorrow morning. I didn't even know this existed until today. Now he needs to learn how to swim.http://beta.active.com/madison-wi/triathlon/race-ready-package-ironman-wisconsin-ironman-70-3-racine-2014

I am in!

It will be my first IM. I've done two HIMs before.

I volunteered this year and had such a great experience I just had to join.

I missed this thread earlier.   I'm IN!    Volunteered on Sunday then got to the Terrace on Monday morn about 9:45 and had no line at all.    Met some of the most wonderfully helpful and kind people (amyjotris and gitterdone) and totally loved the weekend in Madison.   Plan to come visit at least once in the coming year to ride the course.   I've already woken up in the middle of the night on two occasions in freak-out mode once thinking I'd missed the swim cut-off and the next that I'd taken a nose-dive off my bike going down the helix.    Will I be able to get any good sleep in the coming year?!?   Undecided

hey when you signed up on Monday, did it say you will receive an email to complete the registration process? I signed up with the Race Ready Package, and said I will receive two emails today to complete the 2nd part of the registration. They charged my credit card though so I guess that means I'm in... I just don't know what the 2nd part of the registration process is for? Am wondering if that's standard??

I believe the second message to complete the registration process will be coming today, Friday the 13th (EEEEEEK), or after the General Online Registration, which was delayed until this weekend (not sure on day) d/t some technical issue. This is what I was told when I registered in person this past Monday. If you got the payment receipt via email, I wouldn't worry much at this point.

Have a great weekend!

Congrats to everyone who got it! I'm hoping to volunteer next year, then get in for 2015.

I was out there this year and the crowds were awesome! Really made me feel like signing up for next year, but, I'll wait another year.

In the meantime, I did write a post of what it looked like from the sidelines and from the coaching seat for those that want to get an idea of setting up their training this year! Also have a few tips from athletes that raced this year.
