You know, the stuff you really suck at.

---

I could generate a very long list here, but a few to get us started:

Navigating anything made by Apple.  Every time someone tells me how much they love Apple because it's so intuitive I hang my head in shame.

Remembering special dates like birthdays or anniversaries, including my own.  I have some sort of mental block on them.

If I'm sober and playing darts the darts are just as likely to end up in the ceiling or the floor as the dart board.  A few beers though, and I will always hit the board and fairly often hit the bull's eye--I'm convinced it's some screwed up wiring that makes me spaz when I'm sober, but gets knocked down with a buzz.  It still counts as a fail though because sober it is a DISASTER.

What? No dancing? Not to any kind of music?

LOL. I'm laughing with you, I swear...

What happens when you try?

I am severely challenged whenever it comes to navigation, or really anything to do with maps, directions, trying to find my way ANYWHERE.

Google maps has saved my azz more times than I care to admit.

People assume the flashing lights have induced a seizure, the dance floor clears, and paramedics are called.

ETA:  I can do the "Time Warp."  But then again, the instructions are right there in the song.

Singing, if my life depended on me singing on key I would die. I sing all the time though and about the only time people enjoy it is when I am running a marathon or longer and singing out loud when the going gets tough. Well more like shouting out loud than singing.

Wheel of Fortune. I could have every single letter but one showing and I still couldn't guess what the w*rd is.

Names. 0.00000003 seconds after I hear yours, it will be out of my head.

Anything requiring a green thumb. I could kill a cactus, yet seemingly have massive potential as a dandelion magnate.

Frying eggs.

I can scramble them. I can cook elaborate dinners. I can't fry them.

Flying. I hit the ground hard when I tried flying off the roof as a little kid. For the life of me I couldn't understand how superman did it.

Any sport or game that requires aim.

I can't shoot a basket, hit a softball, make a shot in pool, hit the dart board. You get the idea. If I have a dart in my hand you better duck and cover.

And Golf. Don't even get me started. Raises my blood pressure just to look at a set of golf clubs. I've tried, I even played with my husband for a while. It was never fun. I have not played in probably 10 years and I don't miss it.

lol, that's mine too.  Somebody will introduce themselves and shake my hand, but before I let go of their hand I've already completely forgotten their name as if I've never heard it.

I do a lot of "hey buddy"  "hey man" type of interaction when I see people "I know" because I can never remember their names.

Now the real irony is that I have an exceptionally good memory and I can remember complex math formulas from 20 years ago and I can tell you what every bit does in a network packet, but I can't remember names to save my life.  /facepalm

I always choose the slowest line. Always. If you see me standing in line...go to a longer one. It will take less time.

I don't know much about dancin', that's why I got this song
One of my legs is shorter than the other and both my feet's too long
'Course now right along with 'em, I got no natural rhythm
But I go dancin' every night, hopin' one day I might get it right

Ohh, I've got this talent.

When I drive up to a store/mall, someone near the front door pulls out giving me a prime parking spot. Pretty much can count on it.

BUT

I pay for it when it comes time to check out. If I pay cash for a single pack of gum, the register breaks. Something will happen to stop the line for a minimum of 5 minutes.

Navigating in the car. I truly SUCK at finding someplace when I'm driving. Thank GOD for smartphones and map/nav apps.

Now out in the woods, I can find my way anywhere -- I have a GREAT sense of direction in the wilderness. Put me in a wheeled metal box, though, and all bets are off.

I have no rhythm. At all. As much as I love music I cannot dance or even fake it. And, in spite of gobs of money spent on music lessons, I still can't play guitar. I sing so badly that our Rabbi once asked if I would consider speaking the Hebrew rather than chanting it during the service.

Anyone who can quote Zappa must be very strange and lots of fun.

It's the strangest thing, but I can't do crossword puzzles for love or money. My vocabulary is reasonably deep but my brain is wired back to front for crosswords...

I'm really bad at finding things. I don't know what it is but I will lose my keys or something and just don't have the attention span to REALLY look for it. I even find myself, like, going through the motions ... moving things, lifting things to look underneath but my brain is not actually really "looking." Kind of like when you skim the pages of a book without actually reading?

I'm also pretty terrible at basketball.

My spelling and grammar could use some help, too.

I'm sure the list could go on and on.

Try the ukulele.  Some of the chords are only one finger.  You can play some simple songs in just a few minutes.  We took some on RAGBRAI this year and people had fun learning "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Wagon Wheel" in just a few minutes.  I was really sick of playing them and singing them, but others had a blast.
