My first IM will be IMAZ 07 and I am not running a marathon before. I had considered it, but the one I had targeted was only 4 months prior to the race, and I just didn't want to risk any over-use injuries. From most things I've read and heard from athletes who have done IMs, your stand-alone marathon isn't much of a predicter in how your IM marathon will go.

Instead, I'm going to get another HIM in before now and the race.
