GA BTer's,
I'm a distance runner turned runner/cyclist and hopefully future triathlete and I will be competing in my first Multi-sport event at Elberton this weekend. I'm just doing the duathlon (not real confident about competing in the water just yet).
Any advice? All advice is welcome! Especially from you old guys, I mean masters! (Since I'm one too!).

Congrats on your first multi-sport in years! The only advice I can think of is practicing your transitions and write a race report afterwards. Have fun!

I am doing a DU also at Elberton. Just have fun and hydrate well. I am sure you will have a blast racing this saturday.......Hydrate well during the bike. Since u are a runner, you should do well. ooh..and follow the usat bike drafting rules and helmet rules. The organizers are getting very sticky about this issue....especially the helmet.

Cheers.... have fun.
