That would probably do it. I'll be in San Jose though. Maybe I could import some water over the boarder.

So, how was everyone's weekend. Ran 9 miles Sunday. It felt great. I had cleaned the garage all day Saturday, so I was sore and tired going to bed Saturday night, a little pissed at myself for working too hard. Then I went out and stayed with my pace group, in fact was blowing in the front pushing the pace most of the time. IT felt great.

I feel like I am eating great and a little frustrated again with the weight, but we will see what Wednesday says.

I also want ot report that it has been 3 solid weeks without any soda. I can't say I feel any different, but I know that I am drinking more water and less crap.
I give it two more weeks before I will commit to the fact that the habit is broken. I ate out for lunch yesterday and started to order a Diet Coke. I shook myself and said no, I want a tea and water.

Have a great week, look forward to Wednesday weigh in.

Weekends are killing me! too many days eating out and enjoying some adult beverages. I thought this empty nest thing would allow me to eat better, but it is just the opposite!

Good Luck all

9/04 - 187.6

9/11 - 186.2

9/25 - 189.0

10/2 - 187.2

10/9 - 184.6

Well - That's quite the drop.  Not sure what to make of it.  I have been doing the 30 runs in 30 days challenge and I have noticed the weight falling off and my run improving.  I have been logging some good miles and have been eating very good.  So who knows.  I'll take it!

Great job Justin! Are you still using MFP?

I don't weigh in till Friday with my other group, but as of today am 128.6, which would be -1.2 from last week. I'm going to have to start eating a few more carbs in the next few days (Chicago marathon Sunday) so it will be interesting to see how it affects my weight.

I am for the most part, been a little lax with it, but am going strong the past day.

Good luck on your Marathon Lisa!  I'd like to do the Chicago Marathon as it's in my neck of the woods someday.

10/2 165.0
10/9 165.0

I was down to 163 earlier in the week, but then I went out to dinner Saturday evening, had a glass of wine last night and the night before, so that might be slowing me down.

On a positive note, I started running with a training group this morning, and I did 9 min 36 sec for a 1 mile time trial. That's pretty cool for me, since I usually average between a 11-12 min. mile.

Nice job to all those who lost, and keep on keepin' on to all those who gained or stayed the same like me.

First week back with the group and it wasn't a good one. Youngest son had a birthday party (too much bad good/bad food) and the "we only play well in elimination games" Tampa Bay Rays finally had their season ended (no more late night games and adult beverages). Also dealing with some right knee pain. But enough of the excuses, this week will be better.

10/1 - 265.2

10/9 - 268.8

October goal - 260

So this morning, after sleeping and only a 20 minute easy run, I was 265.8. Does any one else experience that much of a weight swing?

Yes, I will have 3 to 5 lbs in a day. Especially after two or three days of hard workouts. I don't exactly know why but then I take a rest day, and lose 5 lbs.

Yes - Especially when I have a weekend like you had.  I don't know the physiology behind it, but I notice that vacation weight, tends to fall off pretty quick when you return to a normal exercise routine.

Sometimes at least, there are other factors to consider - such as hydration.

Meh. MFP says I should have lost 1/2 a lb. Not a great week so we'll have to see what next Wed brings.

I can't imagine a worse start. I caught a cold last week and stopped all training, then had to travel the first half of this week. A large part of that +5 lbs is extra water retention from eating airport food all Wednesday.

What time of day does everyone weight in? I make a point to weight in at the end of the day, because that is when I'm at my heaviest.

Bam!  After months of being stalled in the upper 180's - 190, it is nice to finally see the scale going in the right direction again!  Now lets just keep that goal of 185 for this month in the rear view.

I deserve this one. Even with a 70 mile ride and a 10k this past weekend, I also had a Crab Feast and Pizza night breakdown. Oh well maintained close to my weight.

Back from vacation, but no access to a scale this morning so I'll have to have my weekly weigh in tomorrow morning. Was 133.5 on Sunday though, so it doesn't look like I gained while I was gone, which is great (135 at the beginning of the month). I've been focusing on mainly eating whole foods and entering everything into MFP since I got back and I got in workouts Monday and Tuesday, so hopefully I'll still be able to reach my goal of 130 by the end of the month!

Hope everyone's weigh in goes well today!
