PM: 2400m of swimming (not my usual swim day but Thursday's out due to parent conferences) I was really impressed that several of my elementary swimmers came to Tuesday practice when they don't usually (they have to do a minimum of two a week and can choose between Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) because they realized there'd be no swimming Thursday. Our youngest ones also made it a full 1000m total for the first time today! |

| 324 | Subject: RE: 10.1.13 Rabbit Rabbit! 3.4 miles/40 minutes running from kiddos' school to work. It's a good thing hubby works in the same building as me! And such a stretch of gorgeous weather! Veteran 2842 Austin, Texas | Subject: RE: 10.1.13 Rabbit Rabbit! Dang! Forgot the Rabbit Rabbit thing this morning. Oh well... paid for it on my run. Went for an 8 mile trail run. Got semi-lost in the woods (not a big deal - they're small enough that I can find my way using the sun, so was really just adding a little spice) but THEN turned my ankle and ate dirt. Then tripped and ate dirt again. So, it was more like a 5 mile run, 1 mile adrenalin laced fast hobble, one mile walk and one mile ugly jog home. Been down this road before with this ankle, so a little vitramin I, some RICE and I'll be back at it. It's not broken (done that before, and this isn't that, thank goodness). But, I won't get an afternoon workout in. NOT gonna bike and Walden is still closed looking for a drowning victim... Tomorrow, I suppose! Have a great day all! |
