If there's already one going that I missed, sorry....

I bought the Iron Trac app for my ipad several months ago, and it has been great for easily tracking people at IM races. Usually once the bibs are up, i can enter people into my watch list. I've been trying to do that today, but no luck. Maybe if i had bib numbers. I tried some obvious ones, like Jacobs and Ward, but it comes up as null, null.

Anyone we should be looking for from BT? D we have bib numbers?

Looking forward to following the big Gordon Ramsay/Hines Ward showdown...

Seriously, Kona-following is a good reason to get my morning ride and swim done early.

I've got my last tri of the year in another week on the 20th, so watching will hopefully provide some motivation & inspiration.

Hoping for a great and safe race for all.

Mark

I'll try my best to represent BT.

Ill be in a orange, brown, black, and white Refuel kit (short sleeve bike jersey for more sun coverage) similar to Hines Ward. A friend of mine works for the local dairy providing the chocolate milk for the race so me and another friend got hooked up with refuel gear.

Hoping to come in around 12 hours. Maybe minus 30 minutes or plus 90 minutes...lol. just soaking up the experience, which so far has been amazing.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but wanted to say you're already representing the BT community in an excellent manner. Have a great race, enjoy every moment, and we'll all be watching back here!

One of our locals, although he's not on BT a ton anymore, Elliot Kawaoka, will be out there tearing it up.

I'm wearing my local club gear Coogee Triathlon Club from Sydney Aust. Hope around the 11:30 mark but who knows? Qualified in Canada 6 weeks ago so it's all a bit of a rush!

Great! I will unfortunately be unable to watch online coverage for the whole swim. I'm bummed. Charity event I committed to. But I can check my phone.

Pro mean and women have started, and looking so awesome!

Water looks smooth, it's 76 degrees at the start with sunny skies, and expected winds of 5-10mph with a high of 85.

Sounds a little hot, but could be worse.  Beautiful day to race Kona!

Clayton can't find his bike, and Jacobs passes him in transition.

Jacobs is a stud.  Love that kit.

I only had 6 weeks to prepare, so I pushed myself pretty hard while I was training. After my first figure competition, my trainer had me take a week off just to rest and recoup. Was this needed?

I can't say it enough, the feeling of treading water for that final minute, helicopters over head, Mike Riley's Iron-voice over the P.A. - just awesome. I cannot believe I'm here!

Well the day is finally here. I don't believe a single workout has gone by in these past 9 years where the idea of being at the start line of the Ironman Hawaii didn't creep into my head.
