Whatcha going as this year, if anything? I've seen a few good ones already.
Saw a dude dressed up as Miley (thought there would be a lot of Miley/Robin Thicke combos but it never crossed my mind for a guy to dress up as Miley) and thought this "Miss Kansas" one was funny:

That's hilarious!

I found my old Boy Scout uniform at my parents place, I tried the shirt on and it fit, was tight but it fit. So I thought I could go as a boy scout, then the thought occurred to me that a grown man dressed in a rather tight boy scout uniform might send the wrong message to the wrong crowd.

Back to the drawing board.

I'm going as Bob Barker from The Price is Right. My wife will be one the Barker's Beauties

I'm an adult. I'm going as myself.

There are two types of people....those who dress up for halloween past their 15th birthday and those who don't.

I don't have the foggiest notion what being in either group means about you but I am definitely in the 'I don't dress up for halloween' group. Maybe I'm just boring.

(For years I have been threatening my family that I would attend a halloween party in a Speedo with eight gold medals around my neck, as Michael Phelps. They always say, "Eeewwwwww."

Does anyone have a good idea for a costume that I can ride in? There's an annual cyclocross race that is done in costume. Last year I was a dinosaur and even though the costume was pretty good, I was sweltering. Racing in (fake) fur is really hot.

Since you'll already be wearing a helmet, what about a roller derby girl? Just add some knee/elbow pads, fishnet stockings and crazy striped socks (saw some great ones at Target the other day). You could cover your helmet with a beanie with a star on it to be a "jammer".

Oh man....stick in the mud!   But hey, gotta do what works for you I suppose!

I have a friend who's had an annual Halloween party every year for the last 15 years.  Median age at this point is late 40's, early 50's so this is not for the kiddies.  It's a big group of my close friends and is always a massive blast.

This year I'm going as a voodoo doll and the hubster will be a witch doctor.  What we really need is an after Halloween thread for pictures!

Not sure! I originally wanted to go as the Sprint Cup girl from NASCAR (or there is a Coors Light girl, similar get-up) - but only if I could get an authentic outfit. The jury is still out on the feasibility of that.

My BF's son wants to go as one of the Duck Dynasty guys - I think it would be funny for me to go as one, too! A fake beard would be kind of hot though.

I heard on the radio that Duck Dynasty is the hottest costume this year. Go figure. I know the show is popular but it's completely lost on me. I couldn't sit through 5 minutes of it.

The Monster Dash was this past weekend in Chicago so we went and watched & cheered for a while and got to see a lot of the costumes for the 5km... by far the most popular costumes were the Duck Dynasty, minions, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  There were also a few zombies, a lot of the Avengers showed up, some other super-heroes, and some creepy-azz clowns.

The best costume that we saw was this guy...

CANTSTOPRAFFING

I have no originality - last year I went as the Marathon Bunny. The pic is of me sitting in Indonesia's one (and yes, used!) electric chair. Nobody else dared!

Actually, we just had the first Jakarta Marathon and it was a roaring success, so I might just have to do a repeat. I'd be a Playboy Bunny but I can't walk in heels.

He is always a big hit at races! My wife will usually put him in a costume and make a sign to go with the theme... two or three times per race... lol

I am not going as anything for Halloween as I will be out of town, but I made a great pumpkin for our Trick or Treat on the Trails event being held tonight.  Yes it is a crappy cell phone picture in the rain.  I hope it clears up, but the forecast is not looking good.
