Just starting to plan mine out.

MAR: Love Half Marathon (Philadelphia) - First half
MAY: Broad Street 10 Miler (Philadelphia)
JUN: TriRock Philly (Olympic)
JUL: NJ State Tri (Olympic)
AUG: Chicago Tri (Olympic)

Still debating on entering the lottery for the 2014 NYC Tri, but that would make for a pricey month!

2014 race schedule-tentative

April 12-Martian HM.
May 16-18-American TTT Ohio.
June 1-Dexter/Ann Arbor HM.
June 15-Motor City Olympic.
June 28-29 Chicago ITU Olympic.
July 12-Muncie HIM.
July 27-Lumberman Olympic or HIM.
August 10-Steelhead HIM.
September 7-Muskoka HIM (or 70.3 WC at MT if I qualify).
September 13-CP HIM (if previous weekend doesn't work out).

This will not end up being the final schedule but it is at least a framework of races I would like to do if everything works out.

First time in three years that I don't have an IM on the schedule as the A race. It definitely allows for a lot more flexibility.

Hey Jason, that is quite a race schedule!

What does your training look like between races  when you have 4 HIMs in 7 weeks?  If you qualify at Muncie, will you still do Steelhead?

Planning to bike race full time.

We don't have many bike races available like some of the other states, but hoping to squeeze in around 4-5 time trials, 3 road races, 1 climb up Haleakala (which is technically a road race, but ends up being more like a solo TT), and one Gran Fondo. Also hoping to jump on a team or two for tri relays (bike leg).

I'm going to race lots. Mostly on the bike though. The local criterium series is not posted yet but I plan on racing a few of those. I will probably do an Olympic at the end of the year.

1/01/2014 San Bruno Hillclimb
1/10/2014 Hwy 173 TT
3/21/2014 Rosena Ranch Criterium
4/25/2014 Death Valley Stage Race
5/22/2014 Palomar Mountain TT
5/24/2014 Sherman Pass Road Race
8/11/2014 Mt Whitney Stage Race
8/29/2014 Everest Challenge

To be honest, I'm scared to start running again. Torn achilles tendon, torn peroneal tendon, ITBS, numerous rolled ankles; running hasn't been kind to me. I'm going to get as strong as I can on the bike this year until I start integrating runs.

I just have a big collection of possibilities this year, though with individual s/b/r and all combinations of the 3 available it's entirely possible I may end up doing like 20 events.

July - Axel Merckx Penticton GranFondo

My "A" race will be Redman 70.3 in September. Unsure of what other races I will add in. I'm thinking about doing a TT series in the spring.

So far I have:

February Seville Marathon - first time running this distance, and under 4hs will be great
May Challenge Barcelona HIM - definitely my A-race, I should PR but I don't think I'll get under 5hs on my road bike.
July Vitoria-Gasteiz HIM - this used to be a Challenge event
September Berlin Marathon - if I get a slot, else
October Challenge Mallorca HIM - there might be alternatives, but the date is perfect for a fall triathlon

Some OWS, 10K and half marathon races to be added later, maybe some sprint or olys. I'm really just thinking forward to the marathon and then HIM distance triathlon. Beyond that I'm not committed yet, Berlin will be a dream race though.

I'm just starting to train again after having a stress fracture this year.  I have to be pretty conservative next year as I seem to be pretty prone to getting stress fractures.  I'm hoping to be able to run a marathon next Fall, which my doctor thinks is a realistic goal.  Not sure which one. It'll depend where I'm living at the time. Looking for a late-summer half marathon to go with that.

I want to try to tackle the USAT AG Sprint again in August.

November - Thanksgiving Day 5K
December - Christmas 5K
March - Kings Park 15K
May - Long Island Half Marathon, Carl Harts Mothers Day Duathlon
June - Great South Bay Triathlon
July - Mighty North Fork Triathlon, Ironman Lake Placid
August - Runner's Edge Tobay Triathlon
September - Mighty Hamptons Triathlon, Town of Huntington Sprint Triathlon, Great Cow Harbor 10K
October - Cedar Beach Triathlon

That's my tentative race schedule next year, unfortunately I'm unable to do a 70.3 race before the 140.6 but oh well. Just wish to have a big year really. Maybe one day I will do my first stand alone marathon, when I do so I want to try to qualify for Boston!

Only two races that I've actually registered and signed up for Syracuse 70.3 in June and Ironman Mont Tremblant in August. I'm also signed up for a 10 mile run to the brewery in January. Not sure what else I'll be doing but probably not much since my focus will be on get ready for IMMT.
