Happy Friday everyone! I have a trail run on my list of things to do today and I might try to bump up my distance a bit, maybe. Anyone have big plans for the weekend? Any races?

I have a weekend full of everything but training, so it will be difficult to shoe horn in my training, but I am sure going to try. the most difficult will be tomorrow morning, getting up 2 hours before the rest of the family so I can get my bike on the trainer before we jump in the car for a 4.5 hour trip to my brothers house

All-in-all, I am committed to getting the volume in, but it will be difficult and challenging to say the least

Hope the rest of the group is able to enjoy the training, and hopefully beautiful weather

Going to get 90 min on the trainer on Saturday morning. (hopefully watch the end of superman and the beginning of the last star trek movie)

Then Sunday a 60 min trail run before heading to the Ravens game!

Nice weather this weekend in the DC area get out there if you're here.. (brisk baby)

Hi everyone.  Its getting cold here, had to dig out my winter running gear for my run today.  Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.  My plans include a long run and taking my sister hiking.

This is our last weekend before winter weather comes in. And my last weekend before foot surgery. A seafood fest tomorrow with yard work, a run and hopefully a mountain bike ride for the rest of the weekend.

Have fun all.

CRAP!!!

I just found out my pool will be closed until 11/20. There goes my swim goal. I won't be allowed to go swimming until December! Had I known, I would have gotten my swims in this week. At least one of them. Poop!

I feel your pain on this one. I swim at the high school, so I know I won't be swimming over Thanksgiving break. Not 11 days like you, but still enough to mean I have to start doing some longer swims to make up for the off days. This juggling of schedules -- pool time, work, family -- is what makes training so interesting.

days are getting shorter and it is getting colder and colder outside. Finding it hard to run outside on weekdays as it seems I leave for work in the dark and come home in the dark
Guess will have to start using the treadmill during the week and run longer outside on the weekends
Hate Hate this time of the year
But I do have my annual Holiday trip to Jamaica where I can run on the beach and swim in the ocean for 8 days only 42 days but who is counting

Good luck on the marathon!

Crossed 50 miles for the month already but I am behind on my goal to hit 200 for the month. I am hoping for a 17 mile run tomorrow, don't know if I feel up to it though (mentally - So I have zero real excuses)

The 17 miles is the bike course for the first triathlon I ever did - I set a goal to run it one day. That day could be tomorrow. Should be fun.

I think that running the bike course from your first tri is a cool idea!

Happy Sunday Robin.

I'm doing great with my run goal, however my bike goal is flagging.  Does 7 hours on the motorcycle count towards the bike goal?  I didn't specify which bike it would be

Had an OK weekend of training. Wasn't able to get my ride in on Sat, so that made adjustments necessary. I have updated the Google doc, and am sitting around 20-25% with 3 weeks remaining.....feeling good with where I am at

How did everyone else's weekends go?

Are you feeling good about where you are at with your goals? Do you need to make some adjustments this week to get back on track?

Good luck to all.....we can hit our goals!!

Hope everyone had a great Monday.
Had the day off as I am a teacher so I was able to swim, bike, and run today.
Swim and biked in the morning then ran in the afternoon.
Needed to run today as I lost track of time yesterday cleaning my house and ran out of time to run
