They made me smile too ... ruefully ... 'cause I pretty much still do all of them except 9 and 10.

When I show up to transition, the first thing I take out of my bag is a few shirts from other races I've done and I ask my neighbors which they think would look best on me when I stand on the podium.

Start comparing yourself to others as soon as you get out of your car. Focus right in on how your helmet doesn't look sperm-like, how your love handles stick out from your tri suit, and how much calmer everyone else appears to be. After all, frequent comparisons are the best way to understand why others are superior to you, and can teach you where you need to improve.

Oh dear. I do this.

I think I've been guilty of one or the other at any one time or other. Funny how racing enough will extinguish such silliness - well almost.

I'm curious about the 'don't increase your run by more than 10% per week' rule. Is there a minimum mileage under which this doesn't apply?

Yes, the Dual is a little heavier than Cervèlo’s high end counterparts. But…the price is within reach of the masses and it still incorporates all of the design features that make a Cervèlo special.
