Swim
  • 31m
  • 1500 meters
  • 02m 04s / 100 meters
Comments:

I felt I swam really well but my time was slow, everyone had slow times so they think the course was long (1650m measured by Garmin)
What would you do differently?:

Stay out of the pack

Comments:

I was overtaken a lot in the first kilometre then started overtaking and got stronger and stronger as I went on.
The hill felt comfortable and I stayed in the upper cassette in the big ring for most of the ride. Lots of time in aero.

Walked through the showers then had fluids plus watermelon slices

Sat up to my neck in the canal to get my body temp down!

My first triathlon was at age 56. At first I was just the cameraman at my daughter's first triathlon, then I am doing the races that she has done.
