Pre-race routine:

Set out equipment (bike stuff too) the night before. Ate breakfast (bowl of cereal) drove out to the sight and registered.
Event warmup:

Rode my bike out to cheer on friends who were running the half marathon. Returned to the start, went for a short jog and then stretched.

Comments:

Was just going to run "casual" but got caught up in the spirit of the race. It had rained prior to race start and the sky was still overcast. perfect morning for a run.

Warm down:

got back on the bike and rode the half marathon course (small race, open to traffic.)
