Subject: Training for my 1st Sprint Tri
Hi Everyone,

So happy to be part of this site. Read all inspiring stories here and everyday excited to read more.

Will be joining my first sprint this comoing April 2014 -Sprint Tri in Singapore.
I am Filipino living in Singapore. Actively playing basketball in my younger years and now starting to enter the world of Triathlon as a lifestyle

I joined several 10KM marathons for fun. Now Im training for my Sprint Tri Event.
Coming short races for me: 750m Open Sea Swim -24 Nov , 10Km Standard Charter 1 Dec, Aquathlon Feb 14, Duathlon Mar 14 and first Sprint Tri April 14.

I'm doing the 22 week sprint tri program and the 2 mile bike ride it starts with is not very challenging. I see this as a opportunity to train the right way and challenge myself. Any ideas?

The challenge? The accomplishment? I want to do this because it is an opportunity to live life. The event is an indoor sprint triathlon. I get to experience the challenge on a safer scale.
