Comments:

Good thing I time myself. Was going good, until about 2.5 mile mark and started to faulter a bit, and was passed for the first time on a run all year. :( That is a bummer, but kept it together and tried to keep him in sight. Ended up missing 3rd by 5 seconds. ooops!
What would you do differently?:

Not cook myself on the bike
Post race
Warm down:

Jumped in the pool to cool off, did an interview with the post paper and took a shower

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Should have held on to the guy who passed me and would have beat him in the end (he started before me)

Event comments:

I helped out a girl who didn't have a helmet, so lent her my wifes regular helmet so she could race. Need to have timing mats to make the race and results better. Odd age groups and no USAT age up was just odd.
