I did it for the first time. Good race, nice set up, challenging course, especially with temps in the 30's and 15 mph wind. Had a 1/2 marathon PR ! Free beer and sausages at the finish.
Will definitely do this one again.

I've been wanting to do this one since last year. I love the Shiner GASP rides. The post ride celebration at the brewery is freaking amazing.

I can train for half marathons on pavement and on trails, but as soon as I change it up to gravel or loose dirt my knee swells and the pain it causes is unreal. Any ideas why this happens?
