2011 Specialized Transition Triathlon Bike, Size XL. Like new condition. Seat post has not been cut. I am interested in selling my bike or trading for a 2010 or newer Trek Madone, Specialized Tarmac or equivalent road bike only, size 56-58. I would prefer Chicago-land sell/trade.

Hey... definitely interested in a trade-in of your transition. I have a 2012 Trek Madone (56cm) 4.7 that has an ultegra build. Bike has hardly been used, but does show 3 small nicks on down tube where cleat hit it accidentally. The blemishes can easily be fixed with touch-up paint. I could likely do it for you possibly.

Check out the bike here: http://s1164.photobucket.com/user/triguy44/library/2012%20Madone%2047

Let me know... thanks!

I'm not sure if one of these models is better, both are from 2009 aluminum/carbon combinations. I realize this is a difficult question but any thoughts as which bike is better for a woman?

A bike is NOT a piece of metal with a couple of wheels at either end and a steering thing to stop you running over old ladies. No! ... a bike is a space-age “weapon of mass confusion.”
