Hi from Kraków, Poland

Hello everyone! I'm begginer to tri. I have small background in runnig (several start for 5k & 10k in this year),
some cycling trainigs and with strong decision to swimm regularly in new year (i think i'ts most difficult area for me)!

Plans:
My goal for 2014 is to complete olimpic distance tri on two events in Poland - 29 June, Frydman olimpic Tri (debiut!) and 7 September Iron Dragon Triathlon (near Kraków).
Also, in march, i want to try myself in my first half marathon.

I can not decide which training plan to choose - I think the free plan for begginers are to easy for me, i belive that i can endure a greater load (volume?).
Maybe custom training program will be teh best solution?
I will be grateful for opinions and advice in this matter

PS: I'm 34 years old, married with two kids, live and work in Kraków - Poland.

(sorry for my english - i'm still learning)

Cya!

Welcome to BT! You may want to consider joining a mentor group as they can be a good place for advice. Also, no need to apologize for your English, it is great!

Yes Welcome,

I worked a few years in Gliwice so would fly through Krakow or Katowice.

I ran there, swam there but never biked. Gliwice had a beautiful 50m pool

Never hesitate to ask for help

Yes a mentor group is a great place to go.
