I've got an older Fuji road bike.  It is a great bike.  Lasted a long time with few problems, actually a friend is still riding it.  I considered the Fuji tri-bike or another road bike but got a better deal on another brand.  Fuji is a fine brand just not as glamorous as Cervelo, etc.  I'd buy another one.

PS my buddy averages 21.5 MPH on the old bike in sprints -- fyi.

I have a 2005 Fuji Aloha. I really like it and averaged 22.7 mph in a OLY. I feel that I got a lot more bike for my money by getting the Fuji.

How does it ride compared to others that you have ridden?

I went in to my bike shopping thinking that I was going to buy a Cervelo Soloist or a Trek 2100 and ended up buying a Specialized Tarmac - a bike that I hadn't considered until I went into a new bike shop and they suggested it, I rode it, and then bought one.

So the reviews and such will help in determing things like if the frame is going to crack or if the cranks suck, but it won't tell you fit.

I got a fitting done and realized that I was looking for the wrong size bike. I got the Top Tube length, stem length, and seat height that I needed and it made all of the difference in the world.

So if you haven't had that done, go and do it.

Are you looking for a second bike or new replacement?

My husband road a fuji aloha for a few years and loved it. I just purchased one on ebay about a month ago. Despite a few problems with the seller and a few extra $$ to tune it up, it's an awesome bike. You do get a lot of bike for the money.

You never see them at races!!

I have an '05 Fuji Ace. Just picked it up lightly used for $350. I've only been out on it once and it's my first true road bike, but I'm excited about it. It felt good and responsive. And I've heard only good things about them. Planning on using this bike while building the engine, then once I'm faster, I'll probably pick up a tri bike.

Yep. I currently am riding a 2003 Fuji Tri bike and it's been good to me. It was great value for the the $. Next year i'm looking to upgrade to a Specialized though. It's time for a change.

I am riding the Fuji Aloha 2005 model. I have to agree with everyone else, you get a lot of bike for the money. This is my first Tri Bike and I am doing fine on this thing. I have been in three races and consistently ride well in every race I have been in. Handling is great, components for the money of the total bike are great and weight is a little bit of an issue when you look at some of the other bikes out there, and most of us know the only way reduce weight is to shell out some money. I am assuming that if you had plenty of money lying around you wouldn’t even be asking this question.

Only thing I had to do was put a set of Maxxis tires on the bike. The Continental's that it came with got beat up pretty good after about 700 miles of training.

I have a Fuji Track Pro and I think it's a great bike. I'm a really big guy and the bike has been bulletproof so far. It's a well made bike.

I have an entry level Fuji road bike and I've had no problems with it. After doing serious comparison shopping I decided to go with the Fuji over a Giant and a Specialized because the Fuji is essentially the same bike (components, etc.) but I got it for $150 cheaper. The stock seat is not too comfortable but easily changed Wink.

Speaking of the stock seat... does anyone want to buy one... LOL

I recently bought a Valdora Tri Gel seat after doing a 54 mile ride.

I own an '05 Newest. Love the bike and it was perfect for my first one. I got it because the price, and I really wasn't sure if I was going to stick with tri-ing. The bike has been great and very reliable. I am looking to upgrade once I get a few more tries under my belt.  I have no problems to report at all. It’s been two years.
