Coach suing Little League Player.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/highschool-prep-rally/coach-suing-14-old-over-little-league-baseball-204100538.html?soc_src=mediacontentstory

What was the coach doing out of the dugout during play?  Is that allowed?

I think he was the 3rd base coach.  I think.  Either way, what a d'bag.  And claiming that it severed his achilies.  Is that even possible?  What are the odds of that happening the manner it is claimed to have happen?  I think the guy is just gaming the system.

I think there is likely a special place in hell reserved for him, and the attorney. And I say that as an attorney. Sometimes, you have to not take a case. At first, I thought maybe it was the medical insurance company basically suing in his place to recover the medical costs, but sure doesn't sound like that.

Gotta love the quote about him "being in a wheelchair, who is the victim here". Ridiculous. As if a torn achilies is a life altering/permanently crippling event.

Does kinda make you wonder where in the heck the coach was as well. If the kid threw the helmet to celebrate a game winning run, one would assume he was near home plate when he threw it. I imagine you would have to be pretty durn close to where the helmet was thrown for it to have enough velocity to tear an ahilies. Unless the old guy was just trying to get the heck out of the way and tore it himself.

I had the exact same reaction: "And now he's in a wheelchair."   Uhhh... no.

Or VP tore his Achilles... stepped in a wombat hole in Australia.  6" deep hole.  He's got a little scooter that he kneels on and pushes himself around.  Dude is at least 60.  This "coach" (and I use the term loosely) needs to sack up.

Surprised that he did an on camera interview.  Was he expecting to gain public support?  I hope every restaurant he ever goes to spits in his food and all the local kids egg his house.

I’m a 240lb man, and I run relatively long distances. How would you recommend training for marathon and IM distances as heavy as I am?
