Subject: Stability shoes
I have tried a few stability/motion control shoes. I am currently wearing a Newton pair, but don't think there is enough pronation control for long mileage. Can someone rank these from least to most in terms of pronation control?

Brooks Addiction
Mizuno Renegade
Saucony Guide
Saucony Omni
Saucony Hurricane
Newton Motion

Thanks!

Not sure how to rank but I moved from stability to neutral shoes over the past year. What size are you looking for? I have a pair of Saucony Guides (11.5) and a pair of Brooks Adrenalines (12) with very light wear that I'd sell cheap if you want to try either.

For stability I prefer the Brooks Adrenaline. Have been using for 4 years now. Also have a pair of Saucony Progrid Guide 6's. I would think those two would show up on a list of stability shoes as that's haw they're classified.

Roughly:

Least: Newton Motion
Saucony Guide
Saucony Hurricane
Saucony Omni
Most: Brooks Addiction

No idea about the Mizunos, but I don't think they are a current model.

So, since my beloved go-to shoe brand has changed its shoe, after reading the bruhaha about the minimalist shoe, I decided to give it a try. Now I have a foot issue with my arch area.

To avoid a myriad of injuries (joint pain to your knees, ankles, hips, shin splints, foot pain, bruises), it’s invaluable to find the right running shoes.
