Argh. I post this here as a hope to get me out of my slackerness.

Run 131 miles
Bike a measly 116 miles plus a few spin classes but seriously not much
Swim a paltry 5100 yards. nada.

Time to get moving in February ... moving!

Kind of a down month for me sort of.  I was happy with my run but, the bike and swim are what they are.  The average temp here I think all of January was like -20...sigh

Swim:  5h 23m.  20100 yards :P

Bike:  6h 30m.  117.65 Mi :P

Run:  16h 3m.  109.9 Mi

February will probably be worse as far as the training goes.  The wife and I are having our second child on February 11th.  Can't wait to meet the new little guy!

Run: 11:39:00 for 998 TSS
swim: 4:25:00 for 450 TSS
Bike:20:37:00 for 1612 TSS

obviously a bike focus month, and really weak for me swimming, but there were logistics issues like crazy with snow and work. Most important take away from the month was that I was able to stick to my plan fitness wise, and I'm where I need to be as I level up to a new build.

Good memories are crucial to your success in the water. Trying to swim laps before you are comfortable in the water is likely to reinforce your anxiety, so avoid the white-knuckle approach.
