For those looking for good training tires, these are "da bomb", make sure you get the 4000S, not just the 4000's.

I weigh 195 lbs and I don't slow down for RR tracks, invadvertently hit pot holes from time to time etc. and I've only flatted once in the last 3,000 miles. I also use these for racing.

These aren't the cheapest tire on the market but worth the extra cost.

There's a sale right now from probikekit, Extra 10% off if you buy 2, 15% off if you buy 4 > That's $35 a tire!

Happy Training!

If you look at the rolling resistance tests published, the GP4000S's are coming up near the top all the time as well.

My experience with these is exactly the same as yours. My wife gets about 5k miles on the rear and double that for the front. She hasn't had a single flat in seasons (so about 15k miles!). Light enough, great treat wear and low rolling resistance. A great find a $100, and a fantastic find at $35!

You’re probably not going to get it just right immediately. Like always, just do the best you can and keep on keeping on. Don’t get upset if you don’t hit the target every time.
