Hello, all. Can anyone please advise on a triathlon club to join in Eastern Mass? I've been doing this thing solo, thus far, which has been a good thing but now it has come time for me to share the journey. Thanx in advance!

It would be helpful to specify an actual location -- it takes 2 hours to drive from top to bottom of eastern Mass.

Tri Fury is based out of Andover and do most of their work north shore (Andover, Lowell, Bradford, etc). I've been a member for one year although I haven't had a chance to really participate in much yet due to being a new dad. They do a weekly group ride out of Andover and smaller group swims during the summer every week. Lots of runs and clinics. Good group.

Can't give much info on any other groups but I see North East Multisport around a lot.

Nevermind, here you go: http://www.trifind.com/Clubs/FindATriathlonClub.aspx?state=ma

Yeah, duh, that would be nice. I live in Hudson on the I-495 Frontier and work in Burlington MA.

Unsure of your gender but I belong to a women's tri club out of Bolton/Stow area called AIM Tri Team. I also looked into TriSharks (multi-gender) out of Westboro, they seem active. I am also from Hudson. There's usually a few clubs represented at TriMania Expo in Cambridge March 29th

Mahk,

I went to Tri Mania and there were about 6-8 tri clubs there representing.
Seemed like they were of the larger variety.

Dreamfor Tri = med to smaller
Tri Foxes
Tri Fury
couple others I can go through the list if you are still interested.

and a couple others.
Most seemed open to all comers, others seemed (only my opinion) to only want experienced folks.

Club or group workouts are very motivating and soon you’ll start feeling like a triathlete, making you less likely to flake out.
