Ok..anyone know of good..cheap ..socks for running and everyday gym workouts?  I am currently buying Adidas socks from kohl's . I look for socks that do not have cotton in them..and they seem to be few and far between.  I am also one of those people that have to have the quarter cut..for some reason I just feel like I need some material over my ankle.   Thoughts?  Ideas?  Online?  I just hit costco and of course all they had were the no show adidas.

Thanks

I've been wearing Nike Dry-Fit socks for the last couple of years.  Not exactly cheap, but they've held up very well and are super comfortable.  No problems with blisters at all.

They're 'handed' ('footed'?)  Left and Right, and I always seem to either pull two Lefts or two Rights out of my sock drawer in the morning...

Keep your eyes peeled. Those deals change generally every five minutes. Socks come up regularly.

I picked up some Champion Duo Dry socks from Target. I think it was 4 pairs for 8.99. I like them a lot.

As a result of signing up for events through Active.com, I get the emails for gearup.active.com. I've bought some DeFeet socks through them at good prices, as well as other items (Inov-8 X233 shoes). But you can go right to the site and browse what they have on sale. A lot of it is last season's gear, but often you'll find stuff at half of regular retail prices.

x2 on the Nike Dry-fit. I have cycled through 6 pair that have held up for 4 years so the little extra price is well worth it in my book.

I picked up some swiftwick sockes online and they work great for me! They come in every cut and if you keep your eyes open you can find them on ebay in multi packs for a great bargain. I got 3 pair on there for the price of one and they weren't 2nd's.

I didn’t used to like to run slow. You begin to recalibrate your needs and wants and if-only you could jog an easy two miles, three times per week. Running is a gift.
