Taper. I trained too hard during race week.

Calves cramped right out of t1. Stopped to re-tie shoe at m2 or so.
What would you do differently?:

Hydrate a bit more on the bike. Double knot shoes. Run faster.

Warm down:

Ate pizza, drank choc milk, ate fruit.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Couch potato 5 weeks before the race. Big improvement over my first tri two weeks before. Less sofa time=faster

I was passing others who were saying, "Good job, 587" (that was my race number). People were cheering me on. These were the nicest people I have ever been around!
