Comments:

This my 2nd ever 100 mile ride (the first was years ago)

We started out at 7:00am at this big windmill.... nothing really out of the ordinary.... except
1) I was hands down one the youngest people out of 400
2) I caught one of the older lady rider smoking before the ride.... nice

During miles 1-50 On a pace line I was snubbed by dudes on road bikes... they wouldn't let me pull the pack.... soooooo.... I got tired of that crap so cut to the front.... I pulled the pack for about 10-12 miles then as I was bowing out of being the lead guy one of the the road guys told me "nice pull"... I skipped the first SAG.... then on second SAG I stopped one the guys in the pace line (road guy) told me that the group was slowing down.... hee hee.... come to find out they were doing 70 miles...

Miles 50-100
From mile 50 to the 3rd SAG was a good head wind and hills the entire route from 50-100 was very very tough plus temps on road was around 104... pulled into 3rd SAG filled my bag... ate some food.... bathroom break... etc.....

From the 3rd SAG until about mile 89 everything was going fine... the bad thing was that there was know one out on the roads but me (I didn't see anyone for miles)
87
Around mile 87-89 I hit a good size hole and was tossed off my bike.... landed on my hip and elbow.... bike is fine and know one saw me!!!

89 - 100 was very tough the temps were just sooooo hot then the sweat was dripping on my fresh wounds.... at mile 101 I pulled over found some shade (fyi: during miles 1-50 the pack made a 6 mile mistake) an had nap.... started feeling better but my calves were cramping... so I flagged down a support vehicle an bummed a ride back to my car.... My way of thinking is that I out set out for a 100 mile ride... I did it... the last 6 miles would of been just overkill

You are made of iron.

I'm starting to notice a common thread with some of your events. First brew to brew and now cider mill, when's the vodka sprint?

Nice woundage.  That looks worse than the B2B cuticle.

wow...um...that's quite a fall!  Great ride, though!

Rodies aren't all that, for the most part.
