Subject: endurolytes + gatorade endurance + water mix?
I am doing Vineman this weekend and I am wondering if there is any risk of taking in too much salt. I plan to take endurolytes (which I have used on some of my long training rides) and the race is supplying Gatorade Endurance formula. I will also be eating gels with water. It is likely to be pretty hot so I assume I am fine, but I haven't really found anything about what excessive salt intake would feel like. Any info would be much appreciated...

Should be ok, I don't think it would be excessive.  Unless you take a handfull at one time.I

I 've gotten use to bringing Salty pretzels in a ziplock bag to eat during the run or ride.

The GE provides 200 MG of sodium per 8 ounces. Based on how much you drink, consider reducing your endurolytes by the appropriate amount. If you go too overboard on the sodium intake, it can cause stomach problems.
