My boyfriend (of 10 years) and I both do triathlons. Even we don't make it to each other's races! "A" race, sure, we are out there supporting. "B" or "C" race, it's OK... stay home... sleep in! Or rather... stay home and get your own training done. After 8-9 years of racing, we are more than OK with the other person not being there every single race.

It works fine.

Better that way than eating triathletes if the economy goes south.  There's much more meat on horses.

I don't know...triathlete meat is so lean! I mean, it's leaner than venison! Once you get past the aftertaste of Gatorade, it's delicious.

I heard a "fun fact".  If human was packaged for consumption?  It would not pass USDA.  WAY too many chemicals and toxins and such - basically, unsafe for us to consume!  Crazy, and a bit scary.

I'm really enjoying this new cannibal diet, but my wife is just not into it. She isn't very supportive and does not go to any of my cook outs. What should I do.....

My family and friends not being interested in my tri training prompted me to start a blog where I could write down what I was going through for the handful of people that were interested.

My wife did go to a couple of destination races and wants me to do New Orleans again :-). My daughter went to one race and we picked up doughnuts on the way there. She threw hers in the trash once we got there and she saw some fit athletes walking around in tri kits. She is super thin (I'm not) so I thought that was funny.

You are not alone....my husband has no interest in swimming, biking or running...let alone all 3 together. He never gives me a hard time about spending money or doing races, but he has very little interest in going with me to a race. He's been to one duathlon and is planning on coming with me to one other race later this season, but he won't be coming with me to my other 3 races...including my first Half Ironman in July. I understand being somewhat disappointed that he won't be there at the finish line.
