Triathlon by 40!

 2 |  Subject: Triathlon by 40!Hi I'm Yvonne and I've never attempted a triathlon. I've always been a bit of a runner but the only bike I've ever been able to ride has been a BMX and I drown rather than swim! I've been fascinated by triathlons for years but never had the guts to try one. I promised to myself that I would complete a tri before my 40th birthday which is why I've now signed up for the Lake Chestermere Sprint in July (I turn 40 in August). If I complete the course I may treat myself to a beer or 12!  |

Extreme Veteran 1190    Silicon Valley | Subject: RE: Triathlon by 40! Good for you. Make a plan and stick to it. However be prepared for this to be only your first of many. This sport is very addictive. I do have three pieces of advice I like to give all newbies. 1. Have fun 2. When in doubt, refer to rule #1 3. Have fun. You will find all the help and support you need here. A great bunch of people. I look forward to reading your race report before your birthday! |
