Hi all-- now that the sun is out, it's time to hit the road! I'm looking for a great hill workout. Only have a tri bike, so preference is for low-/no- traffic. I live in North Seattle, so anything in the top half of Lake Washington or up I5 is game. What are your favorite hill workouts around here?
Thanks!

Lake Forest Park has tons of great hills, not "too" much traffic....nice long ones.  I generally ride hills on the east side, so I have many recommendations for that.

Behind Shoreline CC there is a nice long hill, NW Innis Arden Way. Very few cars back in this residential area.

Warm up on the Burke Gilman going north, merge right onto the road after Log Boom Park, take a right onto 68th, and enjoy the climb up seminary hill.

If you hate your legs there are some 15% grades on the neighborhood back roads between Log Boom Park and the Lake Forest Park reservoir. It's +500ft over 2 miles.

If you're up for a longer ride on the weekend, head across the I-90 bridge, over toward the south end of Lake Sammamish, then head up Cougar Mountain.  It gets very steep.

This is what I had in mind. 2.1 miles, 552 feet, and a very nasty hill .7 miles in.

x2

Also, I enjoy heading up Brookside onto 180th/Perkins from the Burke. Almost 2 miles to the light at 15th Ave NE with a little more climbing to the top after it.

I love this list, I am proud to say I have done "most" of them in the past couple of years.  I am in a competition with some friends to see who can do the most this year.  Marked a few off this morning.

I struggled on the bike while climbing the hill portions of the course. I do fine on long straight rides but really have a tough time while hill climbing. Any advice or training tips?
