I am going to be doing KS 70.3 for the first time this June. I was wondering if any of you guys know from past years what time the 25-29 age group started? I was just wanting to get an idea of how race morning will go. Thanks.

Im in the same AG, 2 years ago they started 35 minutes after the pros. BUT I'm sure that changes based off of other AG sizes and how many they have to split. I'd be ready for a somewhat long wait to start. Good luck. Lots of fun.

Thanks for the quick reply. My next question, is what time did the pros start? 7? m.a.burghart, are you racing KS 70.3 this year? I recognize your picture from Apple Sprint Tri from last summer.

Pros usually start around 7:00am, maybe slightly before. No racing for me this year, not that you'd have to worry about me. I'm planning on 'tailgating' along the run course instead with a few others on BT.

Not me at the Apple Sprint, haven't done that one...

M21-25 and M25-29 are usually in the waves RIGHT BEHIND ME! Lol... but seriously. Almost every race, every distance, every state. Never fails.

If I recall correctly, in the past, this race has started the older age groups first (60+), then the 30-somethings, then the 20-somethings, then the 40-somethings. Just my fuzzy memories.

But I will wager you a beer that you will be directly behind F35-39 because that's my age group this time around :p

Thanks for the info. But I don't buy for a second that you are going to be in the 35-39 age group!

It's hard for me to accept, too

It was the morning of Ironman Newfoundland 70.3, I felt queasy. I didn't want to eat or drink anything. I had a full blown case of the pre-race HEEBEE GEEBEES.
