Newton vs Zoot or other

Member  62  Raleigh |  Subject: Newton vs Zoot or otherAnybody have any experience switching between Newtons and other shoes? I've been wearing Newton's with no problems for a 2 years now - and just thinking about bringing in a different kind of shoe into the rotation. Was just wondering if anyone had experience with using a low drop (3 or 4 mm) shoe one or two days and then an 8-10 mm drop other days. Does it mess with you at all? I'm torn between the - if ain't broke don't fix it - and the desire to see if anything else out there |

| New user 40 | Subject: RE: Newton vs Zoot or other I tried running in a 10 drop after using my newtons and I couldn't handle it. It felt very unnatural. I can switch between my newtons and hokas with no issues, but they are a low drop as well. |

Expert 3145   Scottsdale, AZ | Subject: RE: Newton vs Zoot or other FWIW, I run in everything from 4mm to 8mm shoes depending on the work and it's zero issue. Sure on longer stuff when I start to get a little fatigued I might start to feel the heel a tad in the 8mm but it's nothing horrible. I'd suggest just grabbing some that you are interested in and trying them out. What works for one person doesn't necessarily mean it will or will not work for you.
