Comments:

Ran the whole way, tried to keep an even pace.
Transition 1
  • 02m 17s
Comments:

Put on the gloves, grabbed the helmet and I was off.
Bike
  • 37m 58s
  • 9.71 miles
  • 15.35 mile/hr
Comments:

Not bad. Pretty good tailwind on the way out - I was averaging about 19mph (fast for me!), but that meant quite a good headwind on the way back - average was closer to 11mph there.
Transition 2
  • 01m 52s
Comments:

Gloves off, helmet off, grab a drink and on my way.
Run
  • 22m 43s
  • 1.83 miles
  • 12m 25s  min/mile
Comments:

Slower than I had hoped. Lots of walking here. Don't know if it was the wind on the bike, the rising temps, or just a lack of run training.

Warm down:

The one mile walk back to the transition area.

Well done Janet!

Sounds like that wind was fierce & beat you  up hard.  You hung in there with some decent efforts.
