Anyone coming to Panama City for the GCT 70.3 this year? It's held on the IMFL course and is a great event- one of the longest running stand alone triathlons in the country. Formerly a Kona qualifier back in the 'old days'!

I am heading there on Friday from the Destin area, staying at the host hotel.
It will be my first 70.3 and I already am filled with anxiety!
Crossing my fingers for good weather!

Great course- great race. Weather looks sunny and hot, so run will be hot. I'm in Panama City staying at beach for race.

possibly- i would prefer calmer swim too. Marine forcasts can change in minutes around here- we'll see.

Roughest swim conditions I've seen- looked like a tropical storm type surf. Right call to cancel swim this year. Great race otherwise.
