Run
Transition 1
Swim
Comments: The warm up helped but my arms felt tight and weak for most of the swim. This was the first time that I actually felt like drafting helped me. What would you do differently?: Draft in all my races! Transition 2
Comments: Time is included in the swim time. Run
Comments: I kept it nice and easy for the first half and then kicked it in for the second half. What would you do differently?: If it wasn't for the Half this weekend I would halv given it all I had on the run. As it was I practiced pacing and cadence to mentally prepare for the half. All in all, my legs felt really good and again my chest felt restricted. Post race
Warm down: Light stretching and BEER!!! What limited your ability to perform faster: The knowledge that I will need everything that I have for the race on Sunday. Event comments: As always this is a fun race for a Wednesday evening. The beer and conversation afterwards is great as well. Last updated: 2006-05-10 12:00 AM

I left work a little early and was able to be the second person there, right after Mark of course. I ate a little food and then started to set up my stuff.
Ran with Julia at an easy Zone 2 effort. Legs felt pretty good but my lungs felt restricted.
