Pre-race routine:

Got up, drove from hotel down in Appleton. Parked far enough away to get away from chaos. Walked in, and waited for event to start.

Stretched, tried to stay warm.

Comments:

This was my first Marathon. I started off to fast and fell apart at about mile 20. My pace was spot on mile after mile @ 8:13 until mile 17. Besides that it was a blast. There will be plenty more of them in the future!
What would you do differently?:

Slow it down a bit. There are plenty of miles in a Marathon, don't need to prove myself at mile 1!
Post race
Warm down:

Tried not to fall over, got some chocolate milk and some food. Walked around for about 15 minutes then went into Lambeau to watch other people come in.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Going out to fast in the start.

Event comments:

Plenty of volunteers (Thanks!) There could have been a bit more post race food.
