Back to original post....

I think that a good skill to keep your Man Card would be the ability to not tell the entire universe (or at least the BT Universe) when you've done something that warrants getting said Card pulled.

In other words, if you did something un-manly, don't tell us. None of us would probably know the difference anyways.

Well you would know.

Do you mean that I would know if I did it, or are you implying that I am well-versed in this type of situation?

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, I suppose the tree would know if it made a sound, but would anyone else?

Well-versed.... I believe you have shared with the BT Universe enough stuff to have your man card not only pulled, but shredded, set afire and otherwise destroyed to the point that it should have never been able to be returned. Just sayin'.

What have I shared that would get my man card pulled and shredded, hmmmm? Heck I delighted in getting a bloody sock today!

Oh, Scouty .... you know I am just playin' with you right. Bloody sock? Is that something you picked up at William-Sonoma or Bed, Bath and Beyond?

Play like that, I can probably live with. Regardless of the effect.

For one thing, you're arguing with a woman about the subject in a thread about keeping your man card.

When in doubt, remember "WWJWD"

What would John Wayne do?

Actually, according to her, she was playing with me. I think that if a female is playing with you, that's ok.

Man, I'm almost starting to skirt Welshy territory.....

Not understanding women...that in itself no big deal...not caring that you don't understand them secures the man-card in wallet.

Letting her define what was going on AND insinuating that she was dominant during the exchange does not help your case.

I usually rely on Madcow for a ruling of this type. Tom?
