Subject: TT State Championships

The South Carolina State TT Championships are this coming weekend near Charleston, great chance to get out there and do an organized 40k.  Most cyclist don't do the TT so maybe a few triathletes could grab some titles. They do both cycling CAT's and Age Groups for the championships.

Fine I went out on my own and raced without you guys.  The upstate was well represented with a lot of area riders racing and finishing up on the podiums

Went well, no crashes.  Did have two guys taken out by squirrels and one guy who got hit by a boat being towed down the road.

I finished 1st for the CAT4 racers and 23-29AG.  5th overall.  Some fast cyclist there.

Cyclist are insanely fast to triathletes. (Although you have turned in faster splits to a couple of them who have converted to triathletes) Easier to focus on one discipline vs. three.

cyclist are on average a lot faster than triathletes, i'll give you that. there were two of us up on the top 5 podium though getting a payout on saturday though

2 out of 5 isn't a bad showing for the triathletes. Hopefully you picked up enough cash to fix a bike or two

I got enough for a steak/guac burrito at Chipotle and some bottles of gatorade for the 6 HOUR DRIVE back to greenville.

As the fog cleared, the buoy that I first saw earlier in the morning was just the first marker in a very long line of buoys that stretched across the lake like a runway for a 747 jetliner.
