Subject: Any USAT Officials here?
Attending my first clinic in July to become an official. Just looking to hear about anyone's experience, even though it seems pretty straight forward.

Yep, pretty straightforward. Classroom training was minimal IMHO, learn the rule book on your own, there's really not a lot too it, although most triathletes don't seem to want to be bothered with those kinds of details. 

The rules are the easy part, the rest comes from experience, what to look for, how to position yourself, etc.
