Pre-race routine:

Stayed in Longmont at Best Western - great spot! Early wake up. Had to wait to get into Boulder Rez....Athlete parking wasn't open until 4:30am. But....good time to go.....got a great paking spot. Long wait, though.....swim wave didn't start until 8:35 (last one!)

avg over 20mph over the bike...nice! Love this bike course! I agree...that second lap on the run was hard. got it done though...great job!

It was the morning of Ironman Newfoundland 70.3, I felt queasy. I didn't want to eat or drink anything. I had a full blown case of the pre-race HEEBEE GEEBEES.
