Comments:

good transition. I had my stuff covered due to the rain. took my time running through transition and getting on the bike to not to slip and fall.

felt that it went very well.

What would you do differently?:

get a better bike WU,

Comments:

Pr run for a 10k off the bike.

nothing, I hope to repeat this again.
Post race
Warm down:

lots of walking.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I think I needed a little more WU time. The rain stopped a ride. and delayed the start so I was not a prepped as I would have liked to be.

Event comments:

Race was not on time due to Weather conditions, not organization.

I looked at the swim buoys and start thinking, "Man! How am I ever going to swim that? That looks like a very long distance from the bridge. I have never done it in one go." There's no turning back.

Experts agree, doing a “mock,” triathlon on the course you’re racing can aid you in your training; performance and most of all quell some nervous energy.
